TEACHING METHOD

This course is taught to leading business school standards. It is not a panel focused industry event. Participants will participate in lectures, exercises, peer discussion and case reviews that focus on the key knowledge, skills, and practical tools to be effective as a digital director in the corporate boardroom.

QTE CERTIFICATION

Participants will also be eligible to sit for the QTE certification exam upon completion of the class. Participation in the class is a pre-requisite for taking the QTE certification exam.

The QTE certification exam is based upon content covered in the pre-reading and also key concepts that will be discussed in class. The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and requires a 70% passing score. Exams can only be taken in our classroom environment.

This class earns 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU). 1 unit of ongoing CEU is required every two years to maintain QTE Certification. We follow the IACET standard of one (1) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) equaling ten (10) contact hours of learner interaction with the content of the learning activity, which includes classroom, self-paced instruction, pre/post assignments, and/or homework in support of a learning outcome.

OTHER QTE BENEFITS

Upon passing, QTEs will also be eligible to join the Private DIrectors Association and will have their first year of dues waived. Annual dues are $350 if QTEs continue their PDA membership. QTE's will also be able to opt-in to registration with the Equilar Diversity Network who is working with NASDAQ to advance gender and broader boardroom diversity.

REGISTRATION

Upon registration, participants will be sent their course textbook and all other materials to the address that they provide during on-line registration.

We estimate that 2-3 hours of pre-reading is required to prepare for class.

We keep classes small to facilitate engagement for all participants. No-shows or missed days can watch the recorded class online.
